I am a litigation attorney at Latimer LeVay Fyock, which is located in Chicago, Illinois. I represent companies, shareholders, directors/managers, and individuals in complex business and professional negligence disputes throughout Illinois and Indiana. My viewpoint is that a creative and aggressive approach will produce positive results for clients. I'm pragmatic in this approach and throughout the litigation process lay out the pros and cons of my client's cases to them.
preparing cases for trial
While a high-percentage of cases settle in modern times, not all do. Trial attorneys are a diminishing breed. I am not a litigator simply pushing paper to stall the inevitable in the hopes that the opponent will concede. I prepare each case as if it will go to trial, which I believe leads to positive outcomes because I know the ins-and-outs due to analyzing what the strengths and weaknesses of the case are and preparing to address them.

I appreciate that when an individual contacts me for representation it is generally for unfortunate reasons. Whether it be a dispute with their business partner, a prior counsel's error, or a catastrophic injury that they or a loved one has sustained due to another's negligence.
